California International Antiquarian Book Fair Attendance Policy
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious, and people can be infected and show no symptoms and therefore spread the disease. It is known that COVID-19 can cause serious and potentially life-threatening illness, permanent disability, and even death.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. By attending the California International Antiquarian Book Fair you and your guests and/or staff assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of you and/or your child(ren), and/or guests contracting a communicable disease or illness—including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19 or any other bacteria, virus, or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether that exposure occurs before, during, or after the event, and regardless of how caused or contracted—and you, your heirs, assignees, next of kin, and/or legally appointed or designated representatives hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against the Doucet Productions and The Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America, Inc.—relating to such risks, hazards, and dangers.

The laws of the State of California and Alameda County apply to this policy.
